Professor Vann will discuss methods of taxing and identifying fringe benefits and issues specific to international fringe benefits and expatriates.

Professor Vann specializes in corporate and international taxation. He has taught at the University of Sydney for over twenty years, and is currently a visiting professor at Harvard Law School. Professor Vann is also a member of the Hauser Global Law Faculty of New York University and teaches in the U.S. on a regular basis. Additionally, he has consulted the Australian government regularly in official capacities and has worked extensively for international organizations for over 15 years. At the International Monetary Fund, Professor Vann was involved in drafting tax laws for developing countries; at the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development, he ran a substantial technical assistance program for the countries of the former Eastern bloc. Professor Vann is a member of the Permanent Scientific Committee of the International Fiscal Association and a number of international groups which publish regularly on comparative and international taxation.
