This is audio only. Recorded at the 10,231-seater Dane County Veterans Memorial Coliseum, Madison, Wisconsin, on the 11th October 1974, during David Bowie's "Soul Tour" of the US.
For a while, this recording was thought to have been from the 10th October, but there was no show as part of the tour performed on that date. Also, it was believed to have been made directly from the mixing desk, which is not so. It's definitely an audience recording but made very close to the stage.
The images in this video clip were taken during the same tour but at the Capitol Center, Washington DC, on 11th November 1974.
